Portugal/Lagos
A unique combination of a perfect location, picturesque beaches, history, and a cool vibe making it a perfect place to relax. Lagos is a town in the Algarve with a long history, it was the center of the Portuguese age of discovery - used to be the capital of the Algarve until the earthquake of 1755.
Lagos has a population of 22.000 people. It was a fishing town, until the 1960s when tourism developed in the region. This city is one of the most western towns of Algarve. The Monchique mountains shield Lagos from winds and clouds from the north and that is why it's one of the towns in Europe with the most sun hours per year.
